Slivka Thanksgiving
Today, our dorm held an awesome Thanksgiving feast in our dining hall. We reserved the entire hall for ourselves from 8~11.
There was so much good food. From roasted turkey, green bean casseroles, italian salad, marshmellow melt, mashed potatoes to banana bread, pecan bread, pecan pies, pumpkin pie, cheese cake, chocolate cheesecake, raspberry sauce, apple pie, banana splits (and much more idk the names of!), we made it ALL ourselves. Enough food for about 150 people.
It was a semi-formal event, so I got to wear a floral dress :) and guys wore nice shirts, ties and slacks. Most of the students were there, and we also invited our fellows, graduated Slivkans, science professors, and families in Evanston related to Slivka, and everyone who loves Slivka!
I have grown to love this dorm very much, and I truly feel like I belong to a family. Everyone on the dorm is my friend. Literally, everyone from first floor to the last person living in the end of the 4th floor. I love them all :)
I porked out. I had every single food on my plate. and I ate every single bread and pie. and there were more than 5 kinds of pies and 3 different breads. I finished the plate. Now I’m too full to study for my midterm.

- WTF. Now I'm going home. I was supposed to "party" with Kellie/Chris though! LOL. AND My lab!! EFF.
